This week, 8th graders were invited to the iCan Career Expo hosted at Peak Innovation Center in Fort Smith. Students had a blast exploring a variety of career pathways and were able to connect with local employers and organizations. The expo is designed to spark curiosity in students through hands-on activities, interactive demonstrations, and opportunities to see equipment and tools used in real careers.

Thank You from Mountainburg Schools!

A huge thank you to the All Class Reunion Committee and to everyone who generously donated at the reunion on Saturday, October 4. Your contributions have helped kickstart our efforts toward purchasing a digital marquee for Mountainburg Schools. Dr. Reeves is pictured with Linda Downs from the committee accepting a generous donation to put toward this project. The new marquee will be in the area where the current marquee is in front of the high school.

A digital marquee will serve as a dynamic way to keep our students, families, and community informed — displaying announcements, event reminders, student achievements, and important updates in real time. It’s an exciting step toward improving communication and school pride throughout Dragon Nation!

The process has been started with getting quotes from companies for this project. When a rendering of what the finished project will look like, it will be shared on social media and the LiveFeed on the district website.

We are currently working on setting up an online donation option for anyone who would like to contribute to this project. A separate post will be done when this is set up to provide the information to donate online. In the meantime, checks can be mailed to or dropped off at the Administration Building. He is also looking into grants and contacting businesses to partner with us on this project.

This is a great way for Dragon Alumni to be a part of something that will benefit our school and community for many years.

Thank you again for your continued support of Mountainburg Schools and our students — together, we’re building a brighter (and more visible!) future!

Checks can be mailed or dropped off at:

We love our community partners! Mountainburg Cheer recently held our Little Dragon Cheer Clinic with 40 youth participants! The tshirts were sponsored by Hubbs & Whitehead, CPAs & Advisors, and snacks were donated by the Ozark Valley Regional Food Bank! Rockhouse Designs printed our tshirts and had our littles looking great for their performance! MHS Cheer loves to work with our little Dragons, and these community partners helped make that happen! Thank You!

Thank You for Attending Our Fall 2025 Parent-Teacher Conferences!

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the parents and guardians who joined us for the Fall 2025 Parent-Teacher Conferences. Your presence, engagement, and support mean so much to our school community.

The connection between school and home is vitally important—not only for academic success but also for nurturing the social, emotional, and personal growth of each student. When families and educators work together, children feel supported, valued, and empowered to reach their full potential.

Thank you for being such essential partners in your child’s educational journey. We look forward to continuing to grow and learn together!
