**MHS Students & Parents: Make Those Service Hours Count!**
Beginning with the Class of 2027, Arkansas students are required to complete **75 hours of community service to graduate**. This requirement was established as part of the Arkansas LEARNS Act of 2023.
At Mountainburg High School, students will use **MobileServe** to record and keep track of their community service hours.
MobileServe has created a short, easy-to-follow video that walks students and parents through how to use the platform to record community service hours. Please take a few minutes to watch! Understanding how to properly enter your hours now will make it much easier to keep your service record accurate and up to date.

Mountainburg Athetics Youth Department is still needing people to play football for our 2/3/4 team and for our 5/6 team. There is no fee, just come learn some fundamentals and have a good time. There is also still time to sign up for cheer! Colette has lots of fun things planned for our little dragon cheerleaders. Geometry comes alive! Students worked together and demonstrated the concept of a Human Perpendicular Bisector, exploring midpoint and creating a perfect 90° angle through movement and collaboration.
Students spent some time in the library working on a mini canvas painting as part our enrichment activities!
These activities give students a chance to explore creative interests and try something different outside of their regular classroom work.
Congratulations to Tylyn, our August Litbox winner! 🎉 Tylyn was entered into our monthly drawing for returning his library book every week and being a responsible, respectful student in the library.

DRAGON HUDDLE — Starting Game Day with Dragon Pride!
Friday morning was all about Dragon Pride as our student-athletes came together for Dragon Huddle at Mountainburg Elementary! Next week the Dragon Huddle will also be at MMS!
Our Dragons helped students out of cars, handed out plenty of high-fives and hugs, and took time to talk with our younger students as they arrived for school. What a great way to kick off a game day and build connections between our Dragons of all ages!
Dragon Huddle is about more than showing school spirit—it’s about encouragement, leadership, and reminding our younger Dragons that they are part of something special.
We love seeing our students supporting one another and representing Mountainburg with pride!
The Dragons will take on the West Fork Tigers tonight in West Fork at 7:00 PM

On Monday, Mrs. Hays, MHS Career Coach, and Mrs Christian, MHS College and Career Readiness teacher, invited seniors, parents, guardians to campus for the Class of 2027 Senior Parent Summit.
We were excited to welcome our senior parents and guardians for an informative evening focused on everything they need to know for the senior year! Families received important information about school-year expectations and policies, college planning, scholarships, FAFSA, graduation, and so much more.
From preparing for life after high school to making the most of senior year, our goal was to make sure every family feels informed, prepared, and supported every step of the way.
Here’s to an amazing senior year and an exciting journey ahead!
