winter weather
The community was made aware yesterday that the MHS Competition Cheer Team will not be traveling to Fort Worth for Nationals due to the forecasted winter weather storm that will impact Mountainburg and the Fort Worth area. It was a difficult decision, but safety has to be the top priority.

The team will compete using the virtual option and the funds that were generously raised by the community will be used to support the virtual competition. Parents and the community are invited to Carl D. Rogers Gymnasium to join the team for the virtual recording performance at 9:00 AM on Friday, January 23 (tomorrow). Please come and support the team's hard work and success in lieu of the weekend's trip.

When you arrive on campus, please enter through the main doors to the high school. Please have your drivers license ready to show Roger.

As always, thank you for supporting all of our students at Mountainburg Public Schools! Go Dragons!

The safety of our students and staff is always our top priority. Due to dangerous winter weather predicted in both Mountainburg and the Ft. Worth area, we have made the difficult decision not to travel to NCA Nationals this weekend.

Our team will compete using the virtual option, and the funds generously raised by our community will be used to support the virtual competition and a celebration trip later this spring to recognize our students’ hard work and success in lieu of this weekend’s trip.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

Stay safe and warm — Go Dragons!
