Thank you to all of our parents, guardians, and students who joined us for our 2026 Open House at MMS and MHS. We had a fantastic turnout, and it was wonderful to see so many familiar faces back in the building and filling our hallways once again. It was also a great time to get to meet the new faces that will be at our campuses this year.

As we begin another school year, Mountainburg Schools would like to extend our sincere appreciation to Mountainburg Presbyterian Church for hosting the annual Welcome Back to School Breakfast for our faculty and staff.
This special tradition began in 1983 under the leadership of then-Superintendent Mr. Floyd Cagle, when the breakfast was held in what is now our school board room. Over four decades later, this event continues to be a meaningful way to welcome our staff back and kick off a new school year.
We are incredibly grateful to Mountainburg Presbyterian Church for its unwavering support of our students, staff, and community. Your kindness, hospitality, and dedication have made this breakfast a cherished Mountainburg tradition, reminding us each year that we are surrounded by a community that truly cares.
Thank you for 43 years of generosity, fellowship, and encouragement. We are proud to continue this wonderful tradition and look forward to another great year serving the students and families of Mountainburg.

Our Dragon Golfers opened their season with a win today at home vs Lincoln, Hackett, Mansfield, and JC Westside! Caed Cowett was low score with 38. Congratulations boys!

Ready to hit the trails and represent the Dragons? Now's your chance! Cross country sign-ups are officially open, and Coach Sample is excited to get to work with our Dragon runners.
Whether you're a returning runner or looking to try something new, we'd love to have you on the team. Let's train hard, compete with heart, and bring home the hardware this season!
A team meeting will be held the first week of classes and the first team practice will be the following week.

Our teachers have been busy learning this summer to bring the best to our students! Mrs. Simmons and Mrs. Badelic attended training at the ACHE Research Institute and received tower gardens for their classrooms! We are thankful for their commitment to continued learning.
Mountainburg High School is proud to recognize Mrs. Christian for representing our district at the ACTE Conference! She presented on Mountainburg High School’s College & Career Readiness initiatives, highlighting the innovative opportunities and pathways our students have to prepare for success beyond graduation. We are grateful for her leadership and dedication to helping our Dragons build bright futures!
