Leonard Teague purchased a standard trophy back in 1988. This trophy was then passed back and forth between Mountainburg and Cedarville for many years to the winner of the game each year. When this trophy finally saw its last days, it became bragging rights until 2012 with the arrival of the present day Crawford County Treasure Chest.
The late Mr. Lewis Harrell constructed the present day Treasure Chest in 2012. Mr. Harrell was the father of Coach Tom Harrell, the longest tenured head football coach at Mountainburg High School. Coach Harrell was the head coach for Mountainburg Football for 32 seasons.
According to Coach Chris Nolen, there are a few years in which Mountainburg and Cedarville did not play so that is why there are some years that are not listed.
The atmostphere at the Battle for the Treasure Chest is always intense and a lot of fun. We invite everyone to come out to Dragon Stadium this evening to see who takes home this beloved trophy.

We hope our Dragon families, students, faculty, and staff enjoy a safe and relaxing three-day weekend!
Classes will resume on Tuesday, September 8.
Enjoy the three-day weekend, Dragons!

The temperatures may not feel like it, but DRAGON FOOTBALL '26 is HERE! We are gearing up to host the Cedarville Pirates on Friday, September 4. It's the BATTLE for the TREASURE CHEST! Dragon Fans are encouraged to join in and wear BLACK for the BLACKOUT in Dragon Stadium!

Beginning with the Class of 2027, Arkansas students are required to complete **75 hours of community service to graduate**. This requirement was established as part of the Arkansas LEARNS Act of 2023.
At Mountainburg High School, students will use **MobileServe** to record and keep track of their community service hours.
MobileServe has created a short, easy-to-follow video that walks students and parents through how to use the platform to record community service hours. Please take a few minutes to watch! Understanding how to properly enter your hours now will make it much easier to keep your service record accurate and up to date.

Students: Don’t wait until your senior year! Start earning community service hours early and make it a habit to enter them into MobileServe as soon as you complete them.
Parents & Guardians: We encourage you to watch the video, too! Knowing how MobileServe works will help you support your student as they work toward meeting this graduation requirement.
Community service is more than a requirement—it’s an opportunity to **give back, gain valuable experience, build your resume, and make a positive difference in your community.**
**75 Hours. One Graduation Requirement. Countless Ways to Make a Difference.**
