Success Ready Graduates at Mountainburg High School
The Arkansas LEARNS Act emphasizes preparing every student to graduate success ready—equipped with the knowledge, skills, and credentials needed for college, careers, military service, and life after high school.
Mountainburg High School is proud to be recognized as a WorkKeys-Schools to Watch campus. At the 2026 Summer ACTE Conference, MHS was recognized by Arkansas Division of Career and Technical Education (DCTE) Director Ross White for having 13 students from the class of 2026 earn Platinum status on the National Career Readiness Certification tests. (NCRC).
The overall results from the Class of 2026 are as follows:
Platinum - 13
Gold - 11
Silver - 13
Bronze - 10
This achievement reflects the dedication of our students and the strength of our College and Career Readiness program. Starting in the 8th grade, students begin career exploration through Career Development, continue this exploration in Keystone in the 9th grade, and during their senior year, students complete the ACT WorkKeys curriculum, building the workplace skills employers value while preparing to earn their National Career Readiness Certification.
Since 2022, 188 Mountainburg High School seniors have graduated with their National Career Readiness Certification, demonstrating their commitment to workforce readiness and positioning themselves for success beyond high school.
We are proud of our students for embracing opportunities that prepare them for bright futures and for representing Mountainburg High School with excellence.
