It's the final week of the 2023-2024 School year. We hope you are able to reflect on this year as a positive one of success and growth as a parent, teacher, staff member, and student. Dragon Weekly: https://secure.smore.com/n/b3n1e

Two Seniors, Noah and Cason, were gifted $100 from an anonymous donor for making a 27 or above on their ACT! Thank you to all those who support our Dragons!

Parking, sidewalk, and dirt projects are moving along! This project will add three handicap access parking spaces. Improvements to the dirt work will support foundation health by moving water. Part of the construction bonds were used to make repairs to the foundation and subfloors in Old Main last summer as well!

MMSBA had a special visitor today. Thank you Miss Teen Mountainburg Cheyenne Dodd for the treats!

It is Graduation Eve!!

Happy Thursday everyone! 😊

The 2024 MHS "M" Awards will be Friday, May 17 at 9:00 AM. Parents are invited and will need to check in at the office.

Trusses going up! This area will be the performance stage portion of the new activity center and gym.

Good Afternoon!
We wanted to remind everyone to sign their kiddos up for Mountainburg Summer Boys and Girls Club. Every school year and summer we are free of charge and offer free Breakfast, Lunch, and Snacks.
Reach out to us to sign your kids up!

From Dr. Atwell:
"ACT scores are a portion of our High School accountability report card and a gate keeper for scholarships for our students.
We have an opportunity to participate in an ACT Prep Experience this summer with a limited-time grant that will do two things:
1. Give our students a college prep/ACT prep experience at the UA in Fayetteville
2. Give our instructors experience and training on ACT prep that we can, in turn, bring back to school next year and use for future ACT prep opportunities.
Mrs. Badelic, Mrs. Caluyo, and Mrs. Yardely have agreed to sponsor an ACT Camp on May 28- May 29. Our new GT coordinator, Mrs. Mahalia, and our new Career Coach, Mrs. Hayes may also will be joining.
On these days the students will leave from the MHS campus at 8:00, travel to the UA in Fayetteville, and participate in ACT test prep sessions, campus tours, and dining on campus daily. They will finish at 2:30 and return to campus by 3:30.
This is an excellent opportunity to experience the state's most beautiful college campus, get expert tips and practice cracking the ACT exam, and prepare for your next journey in education. I hope each student will consider this opportunity."
Parents - It i s our hope that you will register your incoming 10th - 12th grade MHS student for this awesome opportunity!
Deadline to Register is Thursday, May 23: https://forms.gle/jf6ig12ovePNgZcZ9
