Dragons taking part in Day 2 Of ACT READY Camp took sample Reading and Science tests discussing strategies and effective ways to approach the questions. They took more campus tours, then enjoyed a game of kick ball after lunch! The group completed a sample Math test in the afternoon; then a talk on test schedules and registration before going home. Students received test prep materials for future study.
Thank you to our Dragon students who attended, and a special thanks to Mrs. Hayes, Mrs. Mihaila, Mrs. Yardley, Mrs. Caluyo, and Mrs. Badelic for sponsoring the event and taking part in the ACT PREP as well!
We love our partnership with UA College Access Initiative! Dragon 💙Strong!

Dragons participating in ACT Camp learned more about ACT including scholarships/opportunities for students, test taking tips, tools and resources, and understanding scale scores.
Students and teachers took a sample ACT Test (English) and went through questions and answers, and then took a Campus Tour to different buildings, and the Library!
We love our partnership with the UA College Access Initiative 💙

ATTENTION INCOMING 7TH - 12TH GRADE DRAGON ATHLETES: It is time to start thinking about physicals and your child's DragonFly for next season. Students who plan on participating in grades 7th - 12th athletics for the 2024-2025 school year will need an updated physical before he/she can participate. Physicals are good for one year from the date you receive it. For example, if your child's physical was in August 2023, his/her physical is good until August 2024.
You can get a physical for your child a couple ways:
1. Receive a physical from your child's pediatrician. If you choose to go this route, please print both the following forms, parents fill out the Health History Form and take the Physical Form to . These are the physical papers the AAA would like for us to use.
2. The Mountainburg Family Clinic has agreed to do a physical for $25. This is very cheap compared to most. It may even be more economical than some co-pays to pay the $25. The physical form from the clinic will work.
New athletes or incoming 7th grade athletes, you will need to create a DragonFly account and complete the required items. Please see the Parent Module video for help with creating and completing a DragonFly account. Video: https://www.dragonflymax.com/parents-module-2-submit-forms-web
Existing 8th - 12th athletes, you will need a physical and an update to your DragonFly account. Everyone has to sign off on the Sports Medicine and AAA Participation Agreement every year on DragonFly.
