WAY TO GO DRAGONS AND LADY DRAGONS GOLF! On Thursday, September 5, our boy's golf team finished second in the golf match at Lion's Den Golf Course in Dardanelle (John Daly's course) against Dardanelle, Bigelow, and Scranton. Our girl's golf team finished first against Scranton. McKenzie Frazier had the top overall female score (43) and Elliot Owen had the second best score (51).
Thank you MHS Football players Ryan, Levi, Bryce& Levi, for opening doors and greeting our Dragons at MES.

IT'S GAME DAY! The Dragons are ready to battle to keep the Treasure Chest at MHS!
The gates will open at 5:45 PM.
Two gates: One up at the top by the parking lot. This is for passes and those with exact change . The other one will be the regular gate down by the concession stand.
Below is the concession stand items and prices for the 2024 season. Thank you Tina Metzger for helping to get the concession stand ready with some new great items to sell.

Sportsmanship - It keeps or should keep coaches, players, and fans in check while at a ballgame of any type. The excitement of the competition can often get the best of us when we are cheering on our favorite team - the DRAGONS!
The Media and Communications video crew asked Mountainburg athletes from each sport what sportsmanship means to them.

MOUNTAINBURG @ CEDARVILLE, September 5: The JV game (7th grade and JV Jr. High players) will begin at 5:30. The Jr. High game will begin 15 minutes after the JV game.

Heritage Portraits will be on each campus Friday, September 6 to do school pictures.
We ask that all PK - 11th grade students have their picture taken tomorrow. Administrators, teachers, and staff are encouraged to get theirs done as well.
You do not need to send money tomorrow. A proof sheet will be done for each student that can be used for ordering or you can order online. Please keep the proof sheet with the password for ordering online.

COMMUNITY SERVICE LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES: MHS Parents and Students - below is information about several upcoming CSL opportunities for 9th - 12th grade students.
**Starting with the Class of 2027 (current sophomores), students are now required to have 75 hours of CSL in order to graduate.**
This is a great way for the community to get involved with helping our athletes on road trips to different athletic events.
Shout out to Antwan Garcia for helping design and cut out an adapter plate for the office call button. He used the CNC plasma cutter in Ag Metals class.
