NO SCHOOL| Mountainburg Schools will be closed on Friday, October 27 for fall break.
The Dragons will play JC Westside on Friday, October 27. Senior Night will start at 6:30 PM followed by the final home game for the Senior High Dragons.

This week, the Anatomy and Physiology students in Mrs. Badelic's class performed an experiment where they prepared their own slide and examined cells of an onion root to visualize the different phases of mitosis under the microscope.
CS PROJECTS| Mr. Manus' Computer Science students presented a mobile app project that they designed and developed in class.
MMS and MHS will recognize Red Ribbon Week - October 30 - November 3. Have fun with it and dress up each day!!
BURNING FLAMES| Chemistry students in Mr. Manus' class investigated wavelengths of light while burning various metal salts.
We are so proud of Mrs Steinsiek's class! They have had 27 days of perfect attendance from 8/14-9/29. The class received a special snack and watched a special read aloud to celebrate. Way to go !!!
Criminal Justice is a new Program of Study at MHS. Students are being exposed to multiple career opportunities in this field. Today they heard from US Marshall Cory Thomas!

This evening, the Administration and Board of Education of Mountainburg Schools, along with Rep, Chad and Shawntill Puryear, representatives from Van Horn Construction, MAHG Architecture, Inc., along with Miss Mountainburg titleholders, our reigning homecoming king and queen, many other students, teachers, and community members were on hand to break ground for the brand new Gym/Activity Center and Band Room!
