School Choice is the program authorized by the Arkansas General Assembly in The Public School Choice Act of 2015, which allows parents to apply for their child’s admission to participating school districts other than the one in which they reside. The Mountainburg Public School District will accept eligible students from other school districts under the School Choice program during the 2024-25 school year.

ACT Boot Camp at MHS for Juniors - Thursday, February 8, 8:30 - 11:30. Parents, this will be a great opportunity for your junior to get tips and tricks for preparing for and taking the ACT Test.

Friday, February 2, we celebrated the seniors from the Lady Dragons Basketball Team, Dragons Basketball Team, and Dragons Wrestling Team. The atmosphere was fantastic in Carl D. Rogers Gymnasium plus with both teams getting the W, Senior Night was all the more sweeter!

Tuesday, February 6 we will celebrate our 2024 Dragon Basketball Homecoming in Carl D. Rogers Gymnasium.
We will start at 5:00 with a JV Senior High Boys game against Union Christian. Following the game, we will have our homecoming ceremony. The 2024 Coming Home King/Queen will be announced. Then we will have the crowning of our 2024 Dragon Basketball Homecoming King and Queen.
After the ceremony, the Senior High Lady Dragons will play followed by the Senior HIgh Dragons. This will be the final home games for the 23-24 basketball season.
The Junior High Dragons and Lady Dragons will be in action in the Class 2A-4 District Tournament in Mansfield on Monday. The brackets are below.
