The Starr kids have been running a Lemonade Stand and selling cookies. They are learning to make a budget, make sure they have enough money to cover cost of materials, and how to split the profits. They are also learning about good customer service and how to talk to people even when they are nervous. They are doing great! Thanks for sharing! Congratulations to MHS, with special thanks to Mr Jim Hall and Mrs Courtney Cristee for their work to obtain $39,950 in grant funds for the Agri Science program! The Arkansas Department of Education: Division of Career and Technical Education is pleased to announce the recipients of the Modernization Grant initiative aimed at enhancing established Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathways across Arkansas. This grant is designed to support pathways already in place that align with high-demand and high-wage (H2) occupations, ensuring our students are well-prepared for the evolving job market. This grant allows modernizing minimum equipment to meet the latest technology demands and opportunities within the established H2 pathways.
