SHOUT OUT! The Student of the Week and Teacher of the Week were announced this morning. Congratulations to Devin Doyle, Student of the Week, and Mrs. Christian, Teacher of the Week. Here is what teachers had to say about Devin: *Kind *Helps others in class *Respectful *Here are a few comments from students when asked about Mrs. Christian: *She has everyone’s best interest at heart. *Real funny gal *She’s swamped in work yet she always makes time for her students and classes. She takes care of almost all of the extracurricular activities and manages to make sure the students are doing their best. She may be intimidating but she’s a great teacher. *She is always so prepared to help her students especially her seniors for the real world. *She isn’t going to tell you the false reality you want to hear but instead the truth about the real world. She is overall an extraordinary teacher and person!

Slam Dunk to Dragon Basketball is TWO weeks away!! Below is a tentative schedule - it will most likely change and the new one will be posted soon. This has become an annual fundraiser for the Varsity Boys Basketball team, but it is also a great way to start the Dragon Basketball season! This year we are inviting the little league teams to be introduced and play an exhibition game. Madison Lemonier will be in touch with little league coaches and parents soon. Admission is $5.00 per person. We are having two contests this year - 3 Point Shootout and a Free Throw Shootout. It will be $5.00 to enter each of those contests. Right now, there won't be a lot of give-a-ways. Possibly a couple of big items, but more details will be provided. So mark your calendars for SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 9 for the 2024 SLAM DUNK to DRAGON BASKETBALL!
