MHS hosted the first Dragon Career Connect Reverse Career Fair today! Seniors had the opportunity to connect with a variety of business and industry representatives. There will be more pictures later today.
DEADLINE TO REGISTER: The deadline to register your athlete and/or band member for the free physicals at Alma HS is TODAY, May 8. Registration will close at 7:00 PM tonight. Coach Dean is needing to finalize numbers. The free physicals are for incoming athletes in 7th - 12th grade and/or for incoming band members in 9th - 12th grades.
There is a pre-physical form that needs to be completed and signed by a parent or the doctors providing they physicals will not see your athlete/band member. This form can be picked up at the MMS and MHS offices. Your student needs to bring this with them to the physical on Monday, May 13.

RECOGNITIONS: Bobby Dean and Tarin Preston, along with members of their families, attended the Fort Smith Regional Chamber Signing Day Dinner 2024 at the PEAK Innovation Center in Fort Smith on May 7.
Bobby officially signed as a new employee/recruit for Riggs-Caterpillar. Bobby will be attending OSU Institute of Technology. Riggs-Caterpillar will be sponsoring him.
Tarin officially signed with ABB in the summer apprenticeship program.
Congratulations Bobby, Tarin, and their families! These are exciting times for these two young men.

The Dragons Baseball Team is headed to the Class AA State Tournament in Palestine-Wheatley on Thursday, May 9. The team will go into the tournament as a 4th seed. They will play Woodlawn at 3:00 PM.
Warren Watkins and Mallory Provence were selected to represent MHS at the 2024 Governor's Scholastic Honors Day held on Saturday, May 4 at the Governor's Mansion in Little Rock. This selection was based on their academic achievements while in school.

Students at MMSBA participated in the Atlas Bootcamp. Today we celebrated their hard work and had a brain break before testing next week. I saw students cheer each other on all day. Thanks to Urrutia Family Dental & Walker's Tree Service we ended the day with snow cones!
