Homecoming Week 2024: We are one week away from a spirit-filled week to celebrate Dragon Homecoming 2024! Below is information about Spirit Week and the Homecoming Parade.
There is no official registration or line-up for the parade other than at the front of the parade line. Line-up will be at Silver Lining Transport starting at 5:30. The parade route will be posted later this week.


PREPARING FOR LIFE AFTER MHS: Seniors had the chance to visit with colleges all over Arkansas today at the University of the Ozarks in Clarksville! They learned about programs that are offered all over the state and were able to get clarification on their future plans. If you see a senior ask them what they learned today!.

Mrs. Sarah from the Mountainburg Public Library came out to the Boys & Girls Club last week and performed a project on density with our kiddos. They had a blast. We can't wait to see what she has in store this week! Thank you Mrs. Sarah!

Congratulations to the newly crowned Crawford County Fair Queen - our very own Lady Dragon, Alisha Linder!

Shout to the Richesin sisters - Gretta and Finnleigh! They did some muttin' bustin' at the 2024 Crawford County Fair this evening.
Gretta won her division and received a buckle. Finnleigh came in 3rd in her division!
Mountainburg Schools and the community continue to be well-represented at the fair this year.

Congratulations going to MES Pre-K student, Rory Jo Hampton! She was crowned the 2024 Crawford County Little Princess at the fair this week! She was also received the Photogenic Award.

Congratulations to MES student, Finnleigh Defries! She was crowned the 2024 Crawford County Princess on Friday, September 13.

Bryar Watkins, MES 4th grade student, Bryar Watkins is the 1st Annual and 2024 Cowboy Showdown Champion at the Crawford County Fair in the 6yo-9yo Division! Bryar also won the Audience Choice Award.
Congratulations Bryar! Thank you for representing Mountainburg in a fun way!!

From the pageant stage to the show barn, Lilah Hecox works hard at both. She placed 2nd in the Jr Princess Pageant on Thursday night and her rabbit brought home 2nd place from its competition.
Congratulations Lilah We love seeing Mountainburg well represented.

Congratulations to MHS Varsity " Cheerleader of the Week", Austin Howard! This athlete always impresses us with his tumbling skills, willingness to try new things, attention to detail, and overall commitment to our team and the Dragons! Way to go, Austin! Also, we want to give Pizza Den a shout-out for providing Austin with one of their delicious shakes to sweeten his award!

COMMUNITY SERVICE HOURS: There are several opportunities coming up for students to get community service hours.
Current 9th and 10th grade students must have 75 hours in order to graduate. Use the opportunities to get those hours wrapped up before your senior year.
