As August begins to wind down, we look forward to settling into Fall at Mountainburg. There is a feeling of nostalgia and tradition that comes with being in Mountainburg during the fall months.

The Dragon and Lady Dragon Golfers met up with the Cedarville Pirate Golfers and JC Westside Golfers on Monday, Augusst 19 at Winn Mountain Golf Course.
The Dragons won the match by 19 strokes. The Lady Dragons won their match by 29 strokes. Eli Bassham was the top overall male golfer with a score of 41. McKenzie Frazier was the top overall female golfer with a score of 47.
BLUE SEATS: All the blue seats on the home side have been reserved for the 24-25 school year. There is bleacher seating available between the rows of the blue seats.
If you reserved blue seats, please go to the Dragon Store through the school website: Dragon Store, Athletics, Dragon Athletics. You will see different options that you can purchase. Coach Dean or Mrs. Christian will receive an email as a notification that someone has paid.
Coach Dean has set up season passes: one includes a blue seat reservation and one does not. He has also set up student season passes as well.

Parents - We recognize the importance and the need for good communication between the school and the home, but we also know there is value in protecting our teachers and staff plus you as a parent when communicating about your child. So much communication is done digitally now and documentation of conversations can be vital if needed to resolve a situation.
The Mountainburg School District is choosing to use the platform Rooms for teacher to parent and parent to teacher communication. Through Rooms, each principal is able to monitor all communication that takes place between the parent and the teacher.
We are asking that all parents/guardians with a child in the Mountainburg School District to use Rooms for communicating with teachers. It is part of the DragonsLink app. The app can be downloaded from your phone's app store. MHS STUDENTS and PARENTS: Below is a flyer for an upcoming CSL opportunity for TWO 9th - 12th grade students. This will be with the Crawford County extension office at the Mulberry fairgrounds. Students must register with Mrs. Mihaila before attending as it is limited to just two volunteers. Mrs. Mihaila will need to contact the extension office next week to let them know who is planning to attend.
