I have added a web address that parents can check for online safety information. Do you know what your kids play online? Have you checked their viewing history? https://www.internetmatters.org/issues/privacy-identity/

Our primary focus at MHS is learning and our goal is for each of you to graduate with essential academic skills and life skills that are necessary for success in your future. A key to both your success and an accurate representation of your knowledge is assignment completion and completion of those assignments on time. Completing your assignments on time allows your teachers to provide you with valuable feedback and guidance which enables your continued learning and growth. Meeting deadlines is a responsibility and accountability that you will encounter in your future careers. We understand that sometimes challenges arise that make it difficult to keep up with your assignments. We have many opportunities to help you with this: Focus, Working Lunch, After School tutoring, and Saturday School. All of this being said, we want you all to take note of November 22. November 22 will be your last opportunity to turn in any missing assignments that you have before November 22. Meeting this deadline is crucial as it allows our teachers to assess your progress and, if necessary, provide additional instruction to reinforce essential skills. Please take this deadline seriously, as any assignments assigned before November 22 that remain incomplete after November 22 will be recorded as a zero in the gradebook. We strongly encourage those of you with missing work to communicate with your teachers and consider signing up for Focus sessions if you need assistance. Our purpose is to help you succeed and we are here to help you. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Cristee - courtney.cristee@mountainburg.org.
