It was an exciting week of basketball in Carl D. Rogers Gymnasium! The 2022 Sr. High 4AA West District Basketball Tournament concluded last night. The Lady Dragons are District Runner-Up! Mountainburg was well represented by our players, fans, and everyone who played a part in making sure the tournament went smooth. Thank you again to the individuals, businesses, and groups who contributed money, food, and time to the tournament and the hospitality room. Thank you also going to Mr. Blakney (Official Book), Roger Atwell (Scoreboard), and Officer Peppas (Security).

We're back from the Crawford County Bee and I just want to proudly share that our girls showed great inner-strength and confidence in participating in the Bee. They were given very tough words, but they all tried their best and they did great! I am so happy they were able to experience this event. Remember, they are all winners of our MES School Bee and we're very proud of their accomplishments; not to forget all of that extra studying they spent to prepare for the County Bee as well! Way to go, Grace, Tatiana, and Braylee!
