Last night was full of excitement and tears.
The big excitement came in the Lady Dragons game - upon her 6th point being made last night, Haley Reed hit 1000 points for her high school basketball career!! Her teammates and coaches celebrated with her! Coach Dean presented her with a commemorative basketball designed by MHS Art teacher, Cora Boland. Way to go Haley!
Ten seniors were recognized and presented their framed collage and awesome gifts from parents. Congrats Seniors!!

For Tuesday, Feb 8 the following routes will be modified:
Bus 3 (Shaffer) not running Grapevine
Bus 20 (Reinschmidt) not running Chester Cutoff
Bus 2 (J Hall) not running Shaeburg
If parents are able to bring students to school please plan to pick them up as well in case these routes are still unsafe in the afternoon.

Mountainburg Agri Dept. Receives New Equipment!
Mountainburg Agri Dept was awarded a grant to purchase a Plasma Arc CNC machine for use with prgram of study classes such as Ag Metals and Ag Mechanics.
Students will have the unique opportunity to develop their skills in design with computer-aided drafting (CAD) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM). These skills will translate into high demand career in the skilled trades.
Students will have the opportunity to plan, design, and create projects with a hands-on approach.
Examples of what could be made with the plasma cutter:
Dragon artwork
Business signs
House number
Fire pit
Patio wall sconce
Fireplace screen
Gates
Indoor decor

Tuesday, February 8, is Basketball Senior Night. We will recognize our basketball players for their contribution to Dragon Basketball.
The Lady Dragons will take the court at 5:00 PM. The gate will open at 4:30 PM. Senior Night will take place immediately following the girls' game.
