Have a Great day Dragons!

Believe it or not, it is already time for Parent-Teacher Conferences!

Good morning Dragons!

On Wednesday, the MHS seniors attended a College and Career Fair at Van Buren High School.
They were able to visit over 50 vendors from colleges, careers, and the military. It was a great opportunity for them to gather information to review as they continue preparing for what they want to do after graduation.

Our MES Scholastic Book Fair is going great and still OPEN THROUGH Tuesday, September 27th until 6:00 PM! The kids may shop tomorrow (Thursday), but will be out of school on Friday and Monday. Parents, the Book Fair will be open all day on Monday during Parent/Teacher Conferences. Please stop in to shop, which greatly helps support our goal of earning 50% of the sales profit; which in turn provides so many wonderful, new books for our Library! Your support is greatly appreciated!!!

Have an Awesome Wednesday Dragons.😊

Is your child getting the sleep they need to be at their best? 🥱 According to the CDC, students should get the proper amount of sleep at night to help stay focused, improve concentration, and improve academic performance. Children and adolescents who do not get enough sleep have a higher risk for many health problems, including obesity, type 2 diabetes, poor mental health, and injuries. They are also more likely to have attention and behavior problems, which can contribute to poor academic performance in school. We as caregivers can lead by example by modeling habits that promote good sleep. We can set bed times, and implement media curfews to encourage better sleep as well. Let’s put away those phones, dim the lights, and sleep well tonight, Dragons!😴
