Alcohol is the most widely used substance among America’s youth and can cause them enormous health and safety risks. Underage drinking is dangerous because: - It can cause death and/or injury - Impairs judgment - Increases risk of assault - Can lead to alcohol problems later in life - Interferes with brain development Kids are influenced by so many of their surroundings - friends, teachers, celebrities, pop culture  - yet parents are the leading influence on their kids’ decisions to drink - or not to drink alcohol. Talk to your children early and often about the dangers of underage drinking - they’ll listen.
