Due to the weather and school closings this week, the MES P.T.O. has postponed the Swirls & Twirls Dance which was going to be this Friday. The dance has been rescheduled for Friday, February 24th - 6-8 pm in the MES gym.

Little Dragon Spirit Clinic update! Clinic days will be Monday and Tuesday, February 6th and 7th until 5:00 in the Elementary gym. Performance will be at halftime of the Boys' game on Friday the 10th!

You can now register your PreK - 8th grade daughter for the 2023 Miss Mountainburg Youth Pageants. Registration, Paying Entry Fees, and Ordering a T-Shirt can all be done online this year. Next Monday, copies will be made available in the MES and MMS Offices for those who don't want to use the online system. Since we have been out this week, some reminders might be useful. Below is the MES Friday Note from January 27.

Next week, Mountainburg HS will be the host site of the 2023 4AA West Jr. High District Tournament. Brackets will be posted this weekend. Games will be played on the following nights: Monday, February 6 - 2 games starting at 5:00 PM Wednesday, February 8 - 4 games starting at 4:00 PM Thursday, February 9 - 4 games starting at 4:00 PM Saturday, February 11 - Girls Championship Game - 1:00 PM, followed by the Boys Championship Game Games will be livestreamed the Dragons Athletics YouTube Channel.

While the main roads are clearing, the majority of our bus routes (especially in the higher elevations) are still impacted with icy patches on hills and curves.  Several routes still have frozen bridges and will be slick due to refreezing with tonight’s below freezing temperatures. No school Thursday, February 2. Utilize AMI. 

The 7th and 8th grade games scheduled for Wednesday, February 1 at Paris have been cancelled due to the wintry weather. These games will not be rescheduled. 

February is American Heart Month, a time when all people can focus on their cardiovascular health. Happy Heart Month, Dragons!

Mountainburg Public Schools will be closed on Wednesday, February 1,  2023. Utilize AMI. Stay safe and warm, Dragons.

The basketball games against J C Westside will be played on Friday, February 10 at Mountainburg. The Sr High Girls game will start at 6:00 PM followed by 2023 Winter Senior Night then the Sr. High Boys game. The junior high games that were to be played have been cancelled.

The basketball games scheduled for January 31 against Westside at Mountainburg have been postponed. When a make-up date is set, notifications will be sent.
