We are so proud of our Mountainburg Elementary Dragons!
MES has been recognized by the Office of Education Policy (OEP) at the University of Arkansas as a school that is Beating the Odds because Mountainburg Elementary students demonstrated high growth on the ACT Aspire in math. What a wonderful celebration! Congratulations to our faculty and staff teams and our hard-working students! (High Math Growth, Northwest Region)

The MES P.T.O. is excited to be hosting the Penguin Patch Holiday Shop again this year - Dec. 7-16! Our students will have so much fun again as they have opportunities to secretly shop for Christmas gifts for their friends and family members. Detailed information and budget envelopes about our holiday shop have either been sent home today or will be sent tomorrow. Parents, please check backpacks for this information. Please use the budget envelope to discuss who your child will be shopping for. Discuss how your child could earn money by doing chores, helping grandparents, or achieving an academic goal.
Budget envelopes with money can be sent to school just as soon as you have them ready. The teachers will safely hold the students' money until their scheduled shopping times. This preparation ensures that the students will be able to shop as scheduled! Thank you!
