Students will need:
Comfortable but school appropriate clothing
Tennis shoes for marching
Sunscreen
Water bottle
Lunch
Instrument and flip book.
9th graders will receive flip books with music at camp.

MJH Cheer had a great week at NCA camp! They earned Superior in performance, Most Improved, Stunt S.A.F.E. Award, Technical Excellence in Motions and Spirit, 2 All American Nominations (Marsha and Caroline), and a bid for Nationals! Goals were set- growth made! Dragon Strong!
MHS Cheer had 7 All-American nominations by camp staff! Makenzie, Makayla, Abbey, Willow, Austin, Lane, and Adi. Austin Howard made the All-American team! Lane Biery was invited to try out for NCA staff after this season! Putting in the work and seeing results! Dragon Strong
MHS Cheer attended NCA camp this week at Henderson State! We received The Herkie Team Award out of the 9 Varsity teams there for leadership-values-teamwork! Superior ratings in evaluations, technical excellence in spirit, Stunt S.A.F.E. Award, and a National Championship Bid!

BOOT CAMPS DAY 5| That's a wrap on the STEM and E-Sports Boot Camps at MHS. Thank you Mr. Manus for taking the time to get these organized for our students.

Mountainburg Public Schools seeks qualified applicants for the position of School Resource Officer. Join the Dragon Team to work in a collaborative role in our professional learning community as we ensure high levels of learning for all students.
Qualifications: Must be CLEST certified with 15 years of experience in patrol and investigations or 10 years of experience in a campus environment. A fully retired State or Federal office will qualify in lieu of the conditions above.
Start Date: 23-24 school year. The position is a 181-day 8-hour contract with a starting salary of $27,129 paid in 12 installments. Benefits include eligibility to purchase teacher health insurance with a $234.50 monthly district match, a 15% teacher retirement contribution, and 9 days of sick leave and 2 days of personal leave annually.
Please note: This is a grant-funded position through the Stronger Connections Grant through the Arkansas Department of Education for three (3) years. The District is committed to safety and security and will strive to sustain funding following the grant period.
