Another great group is being celebrated this week along with our awesome teachers, and that’s our nurses. Fortunately, Mountainburg is blessed to have two of the best! If you see Nurse Amy or Nurse Amber this week, be sure to tell them thank you for all that they do to keep our children healthy and safe. Happy National Nurses Week to these and all the wonderful nurses in our community!

Citizens Bank visited the seniors at MHS today in their Career Readiness classes. They provided the seniors with valuable information that they will use throughout their lifetime.

Spring Band and Choir Concert 2023

It was an exciting day for two MHS students and one MHS graduate. They had their official signing with companies at which they will be employed.
Mason Pense was hired by ABB through attending WATC at the University of Arkansas-Fort Smith.
Wyatt Seratt was hired by SPF America following an interview at Draft Day in March.
Chrissy Picard was hired by Mercy-Fort Smith as an RN after graduating from the University of Arkansas-Fort Smith.
Not pictured: Trenton Harrison. He interviewed with and was hired by Riggs-Cat.
Mrs. Cristee, Mrs. Daniel, and Mrs. Christian had the privilege of getting to attend the signing day luncheon and event hosted by the Fort Smith Area Chamber of Commerce.
Congratulations to these students and alumni as well as their families.

MHS Health students had to research vaping and its effects on health. Laurie Lamance, Addrionna Bentley, Kelly Burnett, and Cyan Robbins created a great article with statistics, ingredients, and ways to get help. Check it out here!
