The elementary is participating in a community rescue project along with our One school, One book event - Pennies for Ponies. Students' may bring in change for the nonprofit organization, the Shepherd Mountain Horse Rescue. These donations will be used to help with the feeding and care of rescued horses. The Rescue works with horses by rescuing them, rehabbing (feeding and caring for them), and rehoming them when they are fit and well. Thank you so much for your participation in the help of rescuing horses!
