Today, MHS CTE and Science teachers looked at human anatomy, biology, plant science, and construction through the use of augmented reality laptops. Teachers and students were able to experience the human heart through a hologram. Mr. Barr also set up a heavy equipment simulator, which also includes automobiles, fire engines, police cars, etc.
These are opportunities that the administration and teachers are considering bringing to MHS through CTE Conversion Charter. It will offer students experiences to explore and research careers.

DRAFT DAY '24| MHS Seniors attended Draft Day '24 sponsored by Be Pro Be Proud on March 5. At this event, seniors visited booths set up by local industries and businesses. Several seniors also had the opportunity to interview with companies.
Draft Day was a great experience for each seniors to learn about the industry that is in the River Valley.
Through the College and Career Readiness courses, seniors are having more opportunities to research jobs and colleges. They have also learned about resume writing and interviewing through the mock interviews. Draft Day is an excellent opportunity for our seniors to put their hard work into practice.
