Winter Reading Advisory


Members of The Heat were at Western Yell on January 11 to cover the senior high boys games but did not have good service from the gym. The Dragons came up short 50-60.

The Jr High Lady Dragons will play Paris at 11:00. The Jr HIgh Dragons will play Danville at 12:00.

Draft Day Workshop for Seniors
Anita Brackin, Vice President of Workforce Development for the Fort Smith Regional Chamber of Commerce, Susan Kraft, Executive Director of Career Services, and Kayla McGrew, Career and Internship Coordinator at UAFS were on campus on January 11 to do a Resume and Interview Ready Workshop with the seniors.
Mrs. Brackin is working with Be Pro, Be Proud in preparing for Draft Day on Marchc 5. She shared what the seniors could expect at Draft Day along with information about companies that will be participating in Draft Day. Mrs. Kraft and Mrs. McGrew gave the seniors valuable tips and advice on how to prepare a resume and how to prepare for an interview.
Plans are to have them back to do mock interviews with two or three seniors in front of the senior class.
