Must hold licensure to teach secondary life, earth, and physical science courses.
Elementary/Middle School Music Teacher & Band Assistant
Mountainburg Public Schools is seeking a full-time music teacher to serve the elementary school and assist at the secondary level. Assistant Band Director comes with some after school obligations. Applicants with woodwind, percussion, or color guard backgrounds are preferable but not required. Duties are dependent upon applicant’s strengths and are at the discretion of the band director and principal. Must hold K-12 vocal and instrumental music certifications.
Teach K-6 elementary music
Assist Band program with beginners and high school program
Assist after school marching program, rehearsals, and sectionals
Keep a working gradebook, help maintain instrument inventory and music library, initiate and cultivate working relationships with students and parents
Help to create and maintain a culture of high standards and performance-based achievement

Substitute bus routes pay $30 for AM oor PM routes.
School day trips pay $50 or $60 for extended day trips.
